The global education sector has been witnessing major changes mainly due to usage of technology and changes in the education structure. It is the second largest industry in the world. E-learning, demand for foreign education, and test preparation markets have fuelled the usage of technology in the education sector. Of the global education market in 2007-2008, the US accounted for 60 percent, while Europe accounted for 15 percent. Awareness about education in developing countries like India and China has further increased the growth rate of the global education sector.
