Borderland colleges and universities see trend as online student enrollment grows - Jennifer Cuevas, KFOX14

Over at New Mexico State University, Dr. Sherry Kollman, vice provost of digital learning initiatives said NMSU online has a yearly increase of about 20 percent. Due to the pandemic, the university expects to continue increasing investments in faculty to expand online opportunities, according to Kollman. “Our big focus is being student centered and so as we move more towards this digital learning environment those are the things that we need to be cognizant of and really looking at the full student journey and looking at all of those touchpoints to make sure our students never feel like they are alone,” said Kollman.
