UC Irvine’s School of Education will lead a national effort to examine how generative AI can strengthen college writing instruction without undermining students’ writing, critical thinking and communication skills.
The WRITE AI Center will develop and test evidence-based approaches to AI-supported writing, including PapyrusAI, a platform UC Irvine designed to provide personalized support while keeping instructors at the center of the learning process.
