Students need to be exposed to the AI agenda earlier in their education so that a thoughtful transition can happen from secondary to tertiary education. Much responsibility falls on the shoulders of school and university leaders when it comes to developing an ecosystem of education that supports students, teachers and instructors in enacting a coherent vision. In short, AI is revolutionising not only educational tools but also how science itself is done. We need to ensure that we apply educational intelligence to dealing with its ramifications for raising the future generations of scientists.
