Having a basic grasp on AI sits alongside data analytics and knowledge of popular software platforms as the top 3 digital skills needed to thrive in today’s job market, according to a CompTIA report published Thursday. Morning Consult surveyed 1,000 adults on behalf of the IT trade group. Two-thirds of job seekers say they are aware of the potential impact of AI on workforce dynamics, a proportion that’s even higher among college graduates. Some job seekers plan to use AI to help them find jobs. Nearly one-third say they’ll leverage AI to enhance resumes or cover letters, while one-quarter will turn to AI to automatically apply for open positions.
