Online I-O graduate education: Where are we and where should we go? - Kurt Kraiger et al; Cambridge University Press

The extent to which online graduate programs will be embraced by the market moving forward is yet to be seen. We have attempted to take important steps in resolving the tension and reconciling perceptions versus the empirically informed reality of online graduate education. Henceforth, it will be critical for the field to continue and extend such conversations as graduate institutions across the globe grapple with implementing online graduate programming—temporary or otherwise. Honest, difficult, and evolving conversations about best practices (and well-intentioned failures) are critical in facilitating the overall quality—and market perception—of online graduate education moving forward. We look forward to the discussion.
