United Kingdom universities have seen an almost 50% increase in the number of United States students applying for courses since Brexit. This has coincided with a 40% drop in the number of European Union students coming to the UK between 2020 and 2021, reports the BBC News. The rise is the “largest proportional increase in applicants of any major nation”, UCAS (the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service) said in a report.
