NC State to Work with IBM on Quantum Computing Research - Rhea Kelly, Campus Technology

North Carolina State University is joining the IBM Q Network, a collaboration of companies, academic institutions and national research labs working to advance quantum computing, making it the first university-based IBM Q Hub in North America. Members of the network get early access to IBM Q commercial quantum computing systems for research purposes, via the IBM Cloud. The goal: exploring practical applications important to business and science, according to a news announcement.
