Webinar TODAY: Organizational Change and Emerging Leadership in Online Education - Deb Cavalier and Jay Halfond, UPCEA

Online learning is now the focus of conversation and strategic planning on most campuses the world over. Some institutions chose to dive in head first years ago with robust online programs, others have recently begun wading in the experimental waters of MOOCs, and others still have yet to put a toe in the water. Models for leadership and governance in online education present significant challenges. How are colleges and universities contemplating their plunge into online education, who should lead this effort, and what will it take to compete successfully? Jay Halfond has conducted qualitative research with academic leaders at 29 institutions where significant progress has been made with online initiatives. Jay's work and perspective will inform the conversation in this webinar. Join us as Jay shares what he has learned and answers questions from the viewers. This live event will take place via LiveStream on Sept. 19, at 2:00pm EST. Hosted by the UPCEA Leadership & Strategy Network. Debbie Cavalier, Berklee College's Vice President for Online Learning and Continuing Education will moderate with Jay Halfond, Boston University, Wiley Deltak Senior Faculty Fellow and Senior Fellow at the UPCEA Center for Online Leadership and Strategy.
