Georgetown University will relocate its School of Continuing Studies in 2013 to 650 Massachusetts Ave. NW., which university officials hope will accommodate the growing needs of the school and expand its reach into the Gallery Place/Chinatown neighborhood.
University President John J. DeGioia said he believes the school’s relocation will have an impact on D.C. as significant as the opening of Georgetown's Law Center eight blocks away more than three decades ago. “This expansion of Georgetown Downtown is a defining moment for the university,” he said in a statement. “We are excited to be aligning our interests with this vibrant and growing city.”
