Employer Says Continuing Education Makes You More Competitive In A Tough Job Market - Cassandra Jowett, Talent Egg
=Investing even more time and money in continuing education courses or a certificate can seem risky – after all, you just spent years and tens of thousands of dollars getting your first degree or diploma. But Greg Rogers, Executive Director of the John Howard Society of Toronto (pictured right), says the job market is still very competitive in a number of industries and, for many people, going back to school is the only way to make yourself more employable by gaining the education, connections and work experience you need to get your dream job. “Those with better education qualifications have a better chance of securing meaningful and rewarding employment,” he says.
