Kansas State and all Kansas junior colleges sign 2+2 agreement - Zach Fletcher, KOAM TV
Students in Kansas junior colleges now have the opportunity to continue their education with all credits transferring. In a joint briefing this week, Kansas State University and Allen County along with other community colleges in Kansas announced signing a 2+2 agreement for general business degrees. That agreement consists of students attending any of the 19 Kansas junior colleges, obtaining their associates degree and all credits would transfer to the Division I school. Dean of Continuing Education Sue Maes says this is an opportunity for students to graduate with a bachelors degree. "We've been pretty full speed into these agreements for about the past three to four years," Maes says. "We've had some in place longer, but it was a much slower process and we've really understood now the importance of trying to complete these across our entire state."
