Learning Opportunities Drive 85% of Subscribers to ArchitecturalRecord.com
Professional development and continuing education are important drivers for web traffic, a new readership study from Architectural Record has found. 85% of subscribers say continuing education is a primary reason they visit ArchitecturalRecord.com; and 43% of them took at least one Architectural Record course in the past year, up nearly 50% from 2009. In the past two years, more than 25,000 architects have taken courses offered at Architectural Record's Online Continuing Education Center. ArchitecturalRecord.com receives over 184,000 unique visitors and 1.5 million page views each month. Its popular photo sharing gallery is another top traffic driver, with more than 13,000 photos uploaded by users and approved by editors. Hundreds of comments to blogs, features, projects and user-generated content are also posted each month.
