Moving Towards the Core: The New Role of CE - Jeffrey S. Russell, Evolllution

Once upon a time, continuing and extended education units operated on the periphery of their colleges and universities, playing a critical but often underplayed role in creating access pathways for so-called non-traditional students looking for different types of programming. Today, nearly three-quarters of students fit the non-traditional mold and, as innovation and efficiency grow in importance on campuses across the country, continuing education finds itself taking on more leadership roles for main campus activities. In this interview, Jeffrey Russell shares his thoughts on what it takes for continuing education leaders to create more connections with their colleagues across campus.
