For those who wear the uniform, the appeal of online learning is obvious. Deploy with a laptop and you're still in school, regardless of where you go. When the marching pace picks up, put the books aside and learn when it's convenient. Don't be lulled, though. Just because it's convenient doesn't mean it's easy.
